It is never a lie that celebrities around the world have specific trends among them particularly every end of year or season.
This trend includes going on vacations, events, Thanksgiving etc. It just seems like they intentionally line up notable activities to mark the end of every year, as we have seen some American celebs like Kanye West travel to Japan with his family for Thanksgiving.
See some of this trend below, I bet you haven’t noticed yet.
1. Awards and nominations
We all can attest to the fact that this period has been dominated with nominations and award nights for celebrities in virtually all industries, like in music, movies, sports etc.
Most recently, Lionel Messi claimed the Ballon d’Or awards for the sixth time on Monday night.
2. Giveaways
Celebrities particularly Nigerians are in the business of rewarding their fans with gift items, cash prizes and more every end of the year, just to show appreciation for their loyalty and support throughout the year.
We have seen the likes of Mercy, Chioma Chukwuka, Davido and a host of others do giveaways a few weeks back.
Hopefully, we expect more to come during the eve of Christmas.
3. Achievements
Most Nigerian celebrities tend to show off their achievements for the year, which includes their family, career success, and more.
One of such is popular big brother Naija host, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, who recently shared an adorable photo of his beautiful wife and daughters, counting and naming how far they have gone in their marriage.
4. Money moves
Celebrities, especially musicians and producers tend to release suitable albums and movies more every end of the season. Perhaps because this is one of the best time to sell them in the market.
We have witnessed music artistes like Davido set to release the remix of “Fall” along with American artist Cardi B, few weeks after releasing his trending album ” Good time.”
