Nonso Nwagbo — Nigeria’s renowned artiste, David Adeleke, a.k.a Davido has paid a fan back in her own coin for calling the “IF” singer a fool.
Yesterday, a Twitter user, @oluremi_x called out Davido for featuring in an advert promoting Biodun Fatoyinbo’s church, COZA.
Oluremi_x who was quite displeased at the recent advert also said that Davido doesn’t have respect for his personal brand, calling the artist a cultist and a friend of touts.
She tweeted,
“Davido has zero respect for his own reputation or brand. It is why he moves with touts, publicizes being a cultist and will do an Ad for a church with Fatoyinbo as head pastor. A fool!”
Although she didn’t mention Davido’s Twitter handle, the 30 Billion Gang Boss surprisingly got wind of the tweet, and was certainly unhappy with Oluremi’s words.
He retweeted her post with the caption,
“Ur the fool not me.”
Recall that a viral video hit the media yesterday in which Davido was featured in a COZA advert. Rumours also had it that the artist was paid millions to that regard.
As a result, many fans who were quite unpleased with the rape allegations hanging over Biodun Fatoyinbo’s head called the singer out, condemning his affiliations with the church.
Davido has actually denied the said video and claimed he wasn’t paid for any PR stunt.
